Patrick C.Hoffman: Biographical Information

Patrick C. Hoffman is a Professor in the Department of Ag and Ag Business and is a dairy specialist for the Dairy Science Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Professor Hoffman received his B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and his M.S. degree in Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Current responsibilities include, conducting applied dairy research and development of dairy outreach educational programs for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on growth and development of dairy replacement heifers and development of advanced feed and forage testing procedures. Professor Hoffman is the author of numerous scientific publications and abstracts, proceedings, media, and extension publications. Professor Hoffman has presented nine invited papers for the American Dairy Science Association and the American Society of Animal Science. Professor Hoffman served as the President of the Midwest Branch of the American Dairy Science Association and has been recognized by peers for his innovative applied dairy research and education programs.
