About Our Hmong Task Force

The University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension Hmong Task Force initiated its work in November of 1997 for the purposes of:

• Building sustainable relationships between Hmong communities and UW-Extension
• Identifying education needs in Hmong communities
• Identifying expertise in programming with Hmong
• Assisting in developing strategies for program outreach and implementation

Most recently, the Task Force facilitated the Hmong Educational Needs Assessment Project. Based upon the results of the needs assessment, they developed this website to provide easy access to educational information that the Hmong community identified as important.
