The
Wisconsin Program for Training Regionally Employed Care Providers
(WisTREC) is a coalition of twenty-seven higher education institutions,
government agencies, and community organizations. Our goal is to
improve access to health care in underserved communities by increasing
the number of 'homegrown' certified nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners,
and physician assistants.
