I have served as the Director of the Panhandle Extension District since 1994. Our District has about 100,000 people and covers about 24,000 square miles (4 people/square mile). Our livestock producers are proud of the fact that we have about 14 times as many cattle as people. I am a graduate of the national NELD program (Class VIII) and have learned from international experiences in Norway, China and Mexico. As Extension professionals, we have a tremendous opportunity to facilitate productive change for our clientele. I wake up every morning, excited to be a part of a productive, visionary and accountable extension program. |
