| I
am the State Coordinator for the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education
Program (EFNEP) and the Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program (FSNEP)
for the University of Nebraska Cooperative Extension Division. I have
been at UNL for five years as an Extension Nutrition Specialist. For
the past two years, I have been the Director of the Dietetic Internship
program. Before returning home to Nebraska, I was an Assistant Professor
at Georgia Southern University and at Cornell University I was the
Director of the Dietetics Program. My research area is nutrition education.
Things that I like to do outside of work are to paint old furniture,
make lopsided pots (I am learning pottery), spending time with my
niece and nephew, and traveling. In the summer of 2001 I will be going
to the Czech Republic and Poland. My family immigrated to the United
States from these countries during the 1900's. |
