After serving as the NDSU Pembina County Extension Agent for over 7 years, I had the opportunity to work specifically in the information technology area at NDSU in the Agriculture Communication Department. My current role there is to provide training and support to extension, research and campus staff as it relates to information technology. Some of the programs I work with specifically include videoconferencing, Master Internet Volunteers and e-commerce. The great thing about my current position is the fact that I live and work in Cavalier, North Dakota, 150 miles from the NDSU campus. Technology has allowed this opportunity to live at a distance and " telecommute" to the Fargo campus periodically. My three sons, Jordan, Alex, and Isaac, and my husband Lon certainly appreciate this as they very much enjoy the community of Cavalier where we currently reside.

Owner/operator in a crop and livestock operation for 11 years. Started with Extension in 1991 as the Adams County Extension Agent (Southwestern ND). Moved to Ransom County (Southeastern ND) in 1994 where I am currently the Ransom County Extension Agent with an emphasis in Livestock Systems. Married, with 3 children, two dogs and a rabbit.

Taught at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels in Guyana, South America. Executed the Coconut Industry rehabilitation program, managed two Oil Palm Plantations, and the Soybean Development Company during my tenure with the National Edible Oil Company in Guyana. Currently responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs to improve sugarbeet production in North Dakota and Minnesota.
