Since 1984,
Pierce County is home to my Extension Agriculture Career. As a
specialized Ag.
Agent, I serve two Western Wisconsin Counties
through an informal arrangement to conduct agronomy research and
education programs and also provide some statewide programming through
Team Grains initiatives. I hold undergraduate degrees from the University
of Minnesota and a graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-River
Falls. The Minnesota Extension Service and Northrup King Research
were my previous employers. "I am also a small business owner-sporting
goods and archery".

I have specialized
as the Crops and Soils Agent for Jefferson and Waukesha Counties
since
1997. I was raised on a farm in North Western
Wisconsin and have always had a passion for agriculture. A teaching
assistantship at the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville
opened my eyes to the rewarding work of education. After completing
my Masters Degree, I taught at the University of Wisconsin -River
Falls for two years before connecting with UW-Extension. Now I live
the best of both worlds. My programming focuses primarily on crop
production, nutrient management and farm financial management.
