GUIDELINES FOR FACILITATORS OF SATELLITE VIDEOCONFERENCES

As the local site facilitator, you play a critical role in the success of a satellite videoconference at your local site. Your role is crucial for many reasons:

• You are the person who registers the site and promotes and markets the program.
  Without you, there would be no site or participants.

• You are the person who introduces the audience to the videoconference experience, facilitates on-site activities and relates the videoconference content to local concerns.
  Without you, the videoconference would not be a successful educational experience.

• You are the person who distributes, collects and summarizes evaluations and provides other comments.
  Without you, no one would know what the program had accomplished.
