WisconsinIPM / Pest Management Training - Wisconsin

trainingIntegrated Pest Management (IPM) blends the science of pest biology with control technology. The goal is to find the best solution to a pest problem (or combination of problems), taking into consideration both the economic and environmental impacts of control decisions.

This course is designed for agency staff and consultants who are writing and/or reviewing pest management plans for farms under the Conservation Security Program, EQIP, or local watershed cost-share agreements. The first two sessions are designed for the agency staff who have limited experience with pest management, while the third and fourth sessions focus on the mechanics and implementation of a 595 pest management plan.
