Recent Spam attempts claiming Virus Detected! or Worm Detected!
Over the past week, we've documented an increasing number of Spam emails claiming to be from 'Customer service' or 'Customer support'. These messages falsely claim that either a Virus, Worm or 'Suspicious activity' has been detected from your computer or IP address.
These messages themselves are attempts to install malicious software on your computer, and should be ignored and deleted.
If at any time you receive an unsolicited email asking you to download and install any file, please contact the Helpdesk prior to following the email's instructions.
