Training Information & Registration

For all classes, pre-registration and confirmation are required to attend.
Audience:
Cooperative Extension Employees who wish to learn the basic operation and
functions of Microsoft Excel 2003 for Windows. This course is intended for
novice Excel users.
Learning
Objectives:
Through lessons and hands-on practice exercises you will be introduced to the basic
operation and functions of Microsoft Excel 2003.
At the end of this course you will be able to:

Navigate
the Excel window and understand the parts of the Excel screen

Define
basic terms

Perform
basic spreadsheet functions (i.e. entering and editing data, sizing columns,
inserting & deleting columns and rows, etc.)

Apply
basic formulas and functions

Format a
worksheet
Prerequisites
Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows environment.
Registration & Cancellation
Please register for the session of your choice. The face to face classes must have a minimum of 15
registrations to be held.

Once you register for a class, you are expected to attend, or cancel at least one week
in advance. This will allow time for your spot to be offered to a colleague waiting for
training.
