Training Information & Registration
With our new training registration system, you can check for all current class offerings, register yourself for a class, cancel your class registration and check your training history. For all classes, pre-registration and confirmation are required to attend.
Audience:
Cooperative Extension Employees who wish to learn this desktop publishing application for creating flyers, brochures, and newsletters.
Learning
Objectives:
Through lessons and hands-on practice exercises you will be introduced to the basic features of Publisher 2003 for Windows. The skills you learn will allow you to create effective, professional newsletters.
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Understand the features of the Publisher environment
- Create a brochure from a template
- Create a newsletter template using Master pages
- Modify the layout and content of existing publications
- Enhance publications by importing clipart and text
Prerequisites
Familiarity with Windows 95/98/2000/NT and Microsoft Word.
Registration & Cancellation
Please register for the session of your choice. The face to face classes must have a minimum of 8
registrations to be held.

Once you register for a class, you are expected to attend, or cancel at least
one week in advance. This will allow time for your spot to be offered to a colleague
waiting for training.
