Cooperative Extension Tech Services Policy on Survey Anonymity
As you know, we are building a responsibility based culture in Cooperative Extension, with a foundation of trust. That environment of trust extends to and includes our survey forms. When asked to provide survey feedback, we assure our faculty and staff that their information will remain anonymous. We reassure faculty and staff that their names will not be connected to their responses during data analysis or when communicating results. To follow through on this promise, respondent names or email addresses are removed by Tech Services before data are analyzed or otherwise examined by other members of the organization.
To assure this policy of anonymity, names of employees will not be connected to employee comments in data collection by Tech Services for any use, including 360 degree feedback forms and other electronic means of data collection.
If Extension employees request that names be connected to comments, due to extenuating circumstances of a serious nature, please direct them to call either the Cooperative Extension Dean and Director or the Cooperative Extension Associate Dean and Associate Director to discuss the situation. Please share this policy with anyone making a request for names in association with survey information.
