Documenting Outcomes in Tobacco
Control Programs (155 pages, 957 KB)
The purpose of this manual is to enable tobacco-free coalitions in Wisconsin
to measure the outcomes of their work. Knowing what difference you are making
is critical for accountability and for continuous improvement. Engaging in evaluation
will help coalitions make sound decisions to achieve desired results and have
important information to share with others.
MISSION
The University of Wisconsin
- Cooperative Extension staff from the Program
Development and Evaluation unit provides technical assistance
and training in program evaluation for community coalitions receiving
funds from the Wisconsin Tobacco Control Board. Four regional
specialists work with tobacco-free coalitions to design results-based
programs and implement evaluations that are practical,
credible, and useful. More
