The templates are designed to allow you to work off-line and then connect to the Planning and Results System and copy and paste what you have written from the template to the web-based system. You should use templates if you wish to:

Work off-line due to inconsistent Internet connection
Want to work on a laptop computer away from an Internet connection
Want the spell checking features of a word processor
Save a copy (as a word processing document) of what you have created on your hard drive.

The templates will be available in MS-Word and WordPerfect formats.
