WisSat Satellite Downlink System
A WisSat viewing facility is located in or near every Extension
office in Wisconsin. These video satellite downlinks deliver educational satellite
TV programs to Wisconsin citizens with support from the local UW-Extension
office. The programs delivered by WisSat support the mission of Cooperative
Extension in Wisconsin.
The WisSat downlinks are also available for fee-based use by
educational institutions, government agencies and the general public on a time
and space-available basis. All sites accessible to the public are listed on
this page, which describes the WisSat network. To reserve an individual
site, please contact the site directly at the telephone number listed for that
site. To reserve multiple sites or to learn more about WisSat sites, please
call Ingrid Gottfried Monday-Thursday at 608-262-4552.
