St. Croix County’s Youth Nutrition and Activity Task Force recently trained nurses and other representatives from five school districts on how to set up a mileage club, where children in elementary school are rewarded with toe tokens for each five miles that they walk at recess. The Glenwood City School district was a successful pilot for the program last year.
