Rock Co. Gardening Project featured in article (8/29/05)
The August 8, 2005 issue of the Beloit Daily News features an article by Rebekah Danaher titled "Students growing into little gardeners." The article desribes the gardening project for elementary school age children: "'We're trying to expose them to eating a variety of vegetables,' Blint said. 'The theme is vary your vegetables.' Pausing from her work, Allender said the students' pride in their gardening often causes them to enjoy eating their produce - things they wouldn't otherwise taste."
