Position Priorities

  • Working with County-based colleagues to support programming in food security, such as local efforts that assess food insecurity and hunger, and community efforts to alleviate food insecurity.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Ecology and Public Policy from Rutgers University
  • Master's Degree in Land Resources (Educational Program Evaluation) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison

Previous Professional Experience

Kadi joined Extension in 1994,  coordinating two national Extension programs in environment and health.  Prior to joining Extension, she coordinated a statewide curriculum and evaluation project for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Highlights of Current Assignments and Programs

  • Kadi supports programming in hunger prevention and coalition building and faciliates networking with local agencies and assessing community needs in the area of food security. Her focus is on the community level - she works with county-based colleagues who are involved in local efforts to assess food insecurity and hunger, and community efforts to alleviate food insecurity.
