Guidelines for Providing Credit to the Food Stamp Program on WNEP Materials

Coordinators should place the following statements on all newly developed material that is intended to be handed out to learners. Adding these statements during revisions or reprints is encouraged. Include the phone number of your local food stamp office. You may also want to consider including these statements on your exhibits or posters.

WNEP education is supported by the USDA Food Stamp Program, UW-Extension, FoodShare Wisconsin, and local partners. In Wisconsin, FoodShare can help provide a healthy diet. To find out more about FoodShare, call XXX-XXX-XXXX (use the number of your local food stamp office) or go to http://access.wisconsin.gov

For Spanish Language materials use this translation of the above statement:

La educación que proporciona el WNEP es apoyada por el Programa de Cupones para Alimentos del USDA, la UW-Extensión y organizaciones asociadas. Los cupones para alimentos pueden ayudar a promover una dieta sana. Para saber más sobre los cupones para alimentos, llame al XXX-XXX-XXXX (use the number of your local food stamp office).

Coordinators should place the following statement on all newly developed material that is intended to be handed out to partners, stakeholders or any other audience. Again, adding this statement during revisions or reprints is encouraged.
