Central Information Technology is a newly formed integrated administrative unit that promotes technology solutions, and provides support to core systems and services for the UW Colleges and the UW-Extension.

Through integration we are able to pool our resources, thus creating one primary department that can improve processes and leverage new technologies for improved service levels.

Central IT supports an enterprise Service Desk, the core infrastructure, backend applications, Web presence and data center operations, and establishes common policies and procedures that govern both institutions.
