Distance Education Professional Development
In 1985 DEPD hosted the first Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning to provide an exchange of current resources, research, and best practices relevant to the design and delivery of distance education and training.
In 1993 DEPD launched the first-of-its-kind Distance Education Certificate Program to help teachers teach online.
In 2013 DEPD continues to provide professional online certificates and face-to-face programs to prepare online educators and trainers to create more effective and successful courses, programs, and trainings.
