Learner interactions: Research and implications from the field

Abstract The current cry to include learner-to-learner interaction in online courses is loud in the literature and best practices from the field. However, do we know why and how to design for it? Is it even necessary to improve learning? Learn rationale for reviewing tools and the models from a pedagogical perspective.
