Digital habitats and communities of practice: A social discipline of learning

|Abstract||The potential of the use of technology for learning lies primarily in technology’s ability to provide digital habitats for new learning partnerships. Etienne will outline elements of the emerging social discipline of learning needed in order to achieve the full potential of such partnerships. He will also explore some trends at the intersection of community, learning, and technology.|
