We are glad to have you participate in this year's conference, and we will make every effort to assist you in making your presentation a success.

e-Poster Session date:
Thursday, August 6, 2009

e-Poster format:
This format allows presenters to display and discuss their research studies and findings. Presenters should prepare an electronic "tour" of their research, such as a PowerPoint slide show “loop” or narrated video. These sessions will be held in the Exhibit Hall, and attendees will have the opportunity to tour several e-Poster presentations simultaneously during each scheduled time. Presenters should allow their e-poster materials to explain their studies, freeing them to interact with attendees to answer questions and provide requested details.

Submit handout:
We require that each e-Poster session provide a handout to attendees at the conference. We also request an e-copy to include in our Web Resource Library.

1. Download the e-Poster handout guide.
2. Create handout.
3. Upload your handout to Conference Drop Box (http://www.uwex.edu/disted/conference/proceedings) by July 15. Log in using the username and password sent to you by email.
4. Bring 25 copies of the handout to the conference.

Registration:

• One presenter per e-Poster session will receive a discount of $125 off the standard registration fee.
• Only one conference discount may be applied.
• All presenters must register for the conference by June 1 and actively participate in the session. Failure to register may result in cancellation of your session.
• Online registration starts in May; we will send a reminder at that time with a link and instructions for registering.

Standard room and audiovisual set-up:

• Several computer stations will be set up in an area of the Exhibit Hall.
• Each station will include an A/V cart with computer monitor, power, and cables for laptop; tall table for laptop; and signage.
• Presenters are required to bring a laptop (and external speakers, if applicable).

OPTIONAL -- Submit summary paper for 2009 Conference Proceedings and Web Resource Library by May 15. 
If you wish to submit a 3-5 page session summary paper for your e-Poster session, please follow these steps:

1. Download proceedings guidelines and permission form. Review formatting guidelines to help prepare your proceedings document (view sample from prior year).
2. Make sure session title and authors of paper match the title and presenters of session.
3. Upload your paper to the Conference Drop Box (http://www.uwex.edu/disted/conference/proceedings); log in using the user name and password sent to you by email. A link to a log-in reminder form is also available at the URL listed above. 
4. Print and fill out the permission form, and fax completed form to 608-265-7848 by May 15.
