e-Poster Research Session format

These 20-minute electronic poster sessions allow researchers and graduate students to discuss their completed research in a small group setting. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour three simultaneous presentations and interact with presenters about their studies and findings. Presenters should prepare an electronic "tour" of their research, such as a PowerPoint slide show “loop” or narrated video.

Standard room and audiovisual set-up

Three computer stations will be set up in same room.
Each station will include an A/V cart with computer monitor, power, cables for laptop; tall table for laptop; and signage.

NOTE: Presenters are required to bring their own laptop computer (and external speakers, if applicable).

REQUIRED: Submit proceedings paper by May 4

Presenters of e-Poster Research Sessions are required to submit a 3-5 page paper about their session by May 4. If your paper is not submitted by that date, the conference staff will select an alternate proposal for your time slot. Please follow these steps:

Download proceedings guidelines. Review formatting guidelines to help prepare your proceedings document (view 2010 sample paper).
Make sure session title and authors of paper match the title and presenters of session.
Upload your paper to the Conference Drop Box; log in using the user name and password sent to you by email or click the log-in reminder link on the drop box page.
Print and fill out the permission form and fax completed form to 608-265-4555 by May 4.

Register by June 8

Up to two presenters per e-Poster Session will receive a discount of $125 off the standard registration fee of $455.
Only one conference discount per person may be applied to registration.
All presenters must register by June 8 and actively participate in the session. Failure to register may result in cancellation of your session.
Online registration begins in May; a reminder will be sent to you at that time with a link and instructions for registering.
