Group Offerings and Discounts

conference group

Start planning now for your group to attend Distance Learning 2010! With a long tradition of bringing practitioners together for networking and professional development, the conference has been an ideal meeting place for professional organizations and special interest groups from different states, regions, the U.S., and the world.

We encourage organizations to take advantage of the following offerings at the 26th Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning:

Group registration rates for groups of three or more

We will offer a discounted conference registration rate ($385/each) for groups of three or more people from the same organization and billing address. This special rate cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or special rates. The group contact must submit the Group Payment Form (available in May) along with all of the individual registration forms at the same time. Group discounts must be submitted by July 16, 2010.

Reserve meeting space before or during the conference for your organization

We can help to arrange meeting space for your group to convene at the Hilton, Monona Terrace, or other nearby hotels from Wednesday, August 4 through Friday, August 6, 2010. Depending on your group's criteria, the facilities may be complimentary or at a reasonable price, and these spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Food and special A/V requirements would be the responsibility of your organization. Contact our staff for further details and to check on availability. Other options or services may be available depending on your organization's needs.

Reserve special van pool parking passes for the conference

In addition to meeting space, qualified groups that are driving to the 2010 conference as part of a van pool may be eligible for complimentary parking passes at the conference facility. There must be a minimum of five registered attendees per van. There is a limited number of complimentary parking passes available, so make sure to reserve your space early, but no later than July 16, 2010.
