Group Offerings and Discounts

Start planning now for your group to attend Distance Learning 2008! With a long tradition of bringing practitioners together for networking and professional development, the conference has been an ideal meeting place for professional organizations and special interest groups from different regions, states, the US, and the world.

We encourage organizations to take advantage of the following offerings at the 24th Annual Conference on Distance Teaching and Learning:

• Group registration rate for five or more people from same organization/billing address
• Meeting rooms at the Monona Terrace or the Hilton
• Vanpool parking pass at the Monona Terrace during the conference
• Other special group facilities and services to be arranged

Group discount for five or more people

We offer a discount of $60 per person off the registration rate ($420) for groups of FIVE or more people from the same organization and billing address. The group must submit the Group Payment Form AND the individual registration forms at the same time via mail or fax. Group discounts must be submitted by July 16, 2008.

To qualify for the group discount:

• Group is defined as five (5) or more people from the same organization with same billing address.
• Group rate is for conference registration fee. Optional workshops are not eligible for group rates.
• Group rates MAY NOT be combined with other conference discounted rates (student, presenter, etc.).
• A complete individual registration form for each group member must be submitted with the group payment form. Add-ons and cancellations will not be allowed, only substitutes.
• Full payment or purchase order must accompany this form. Individual payments will not be accepted.
• The deadline to register for group rates is July 16, 2008.
• Please fax or mail group registrations. Phone registrations will not be accepted for the group rate.

Reserve meeting space before or during the conference for your organization

We can help to arrange meeting space for your group to convene at the Hilton, Monona Terrace, or other nearby hotels from Tuesday, August 5 through Friday, August 8. Contact our staff for further details and to check on availability. Other options or services may be available depending on your organization's needs.

Reserve special vanpool parking passes for the conference

Groups that are driving to the 2008 conference as part of a vanpool may be eligible for complimentary parking passes at the conference facility. There must be a minimum of five registered attendees per van. There is a limited number of complimentary parking passes available, so reserve your space early, but no later than July 16, 2008.
