ABOUT INFORMATION SESSIONS
Concurrent information sessions offer experienced educators and trainers the opportunity to present a distance education or training topic and discuss its relevance and applicability with colleagues. Presenters should plan for 35 minutes of quality presentation plus 10 minutes for discussion and questions. Information sessions will be held on Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10.
Suggested level of experience
Presenters of this format should have several years of work experience in the field and have given several related presentations.

Room set-up and equipment provided
Information Sessions are set up theater-style for approximately 75-100 people. Presenters are required to provide their own computers.
The conference will provide a standard set-up for all information sessions including projector, screen, microphones and audio system, Internet connection, podium, white board & markers, and presenter's table.
Acceptance requirements
- If your proposal is selected for presentation and you accept, you (and any co-presenter, if applicable) are committing to register for and attend the conference. Presenters must register by June 6, 2012. Accepted Information Session presenters each receive a registration discount of $150 for up to two presenters.
- Accepted Information Session presenters arerequiredto submit a3-5 page proceedings paperby May 4, 2012. All accepted papers will be published in the 2012 Conference Proceedings & Resources and added to the Resource Library on the conference website.
- Accepted Information Session presenters must submit participant resources (handouts, slides, etc.) electronically by July 16, 2012 to be included in the Resource Library on the conference website.
