Nominations for the Mildred B. and Charles A. Wedemeyer Award - Outstanding Practitioner in Distance Education
Professor and Mrs. Wedemeyer established this biennial award to recognize outstanding contributions in the application of important skills, concepts, techniques, meanings and understandings of distance education in North America. The award honors leadership that has provided a model of practice benefitting present and future distance education programs, instructors, students, researchers, and practitioners. Contributions may include: distance teaching and learning projects, innovative distance education methods, activities that enhance the field of practice, or a body of work demonstrating exceptional contributions and/or advancements to the field.
Eligibility
This competition is open to all practitioners who reside and practice distance education in North America.
