Workshop format

Three-hour Workshops provide opportunities for presenters to facilitate interactive and practical learning experiences to develop participants' knowledge and skills in a specific area. Presenters will guide attendees through a variety of suggested activities:

Demonstrations
Breakout discussions
Hands-on work
Group projects
Simulations
Interactive strategies

Workshops are optional conference events that require pre-registration and separate fees for attendees.

REQUIRED: Submit one-page summary paper (OR optional 3-5 page proceedings paper) by May 4

One-page summary paper

Download guidelines and template to prepare your document.
Upload your paper to the Conference Drop Box; log in using the user name and password sent to you by email or click the log-in reminder link on the drop box page.

3-5 page proceedings paper

Download proceedings guidelines. Review formatting guidelines to help prepare your proceedings document (view 2010 sample paper).
Make sure session title and authors of paper match the title and presenters of session.
Upload your paper to the Conference Drop Box; log in using the user name and password sent to you by email or click the log-in reminder link on the drop box page.
Print and fill out the permission form, and fax completed form to 608-265-4555 by May 4.

Register by June 8

Up to two presenters per Workshop receive a full conference fee waiver (savings of $455 per person).
All presenters must register for the conference by June 8 and actively participate in the presentation. Failure to register may result in cancellation of your workshop.
Online registration starts in May; a reminder will be sent to you at that time with a link and instructions for registering.
