Develop your knowledge and skills
in distance education and training

The Distance Education Professional Development (DEPD) Program is designed to build or enhance your professional knowledge, skills, and leadership in distance/online education and training. Through a flexible, learner-centered curriculum, the program integrates core knowledge with practical applications in work settings. The courses are presented via the Internet, audio/web conferencing, and modular print formats so travel is not required. People may enroll in courses on a certificate or non-certificate basis. If you want to

  • expand current knowledge and apply new ideas in practice,
  • prepare for a distance education position,
  • gain hands-on experience as a distance learner,
