Technology - What's ahead for 1998? One of the best sources of information on technology trends for the coming year is the International Teleconferencing Association (ITCA). The largest and one of the oldest teleconferencing associations, ITCA has roots in the University of Wisconsin-Extension and Instructional Communications Systems (ICS). Early meetings, held in Old Radio Hall with ICS personnel and those establishing ITCA, sparked the beginnings of ITCA as it is known today. UW-Extension and ICS personnel are still very much involved in various aspects of ITCA.
