* The Department of English at Calgary's Mount Royal College is hosting a conference on politics, pedagogy and technology from May 3-5, 2001 and is seeking proposals that address the historical, social and political contexts of technology in education, critique technology, or deal with issues of assessment and evaluation and/or best practices. Presentations may be twenty-minute scholarly papers or performances, panels, teleconferenced dialogues or poster sessions. Proposals from all perspectives and employing traditional and innovative formats are welcome, as are submissions from the private sector and students.
