New software and media are emerging at a breathtaking rate. Finding just the right one to serve your specific needs can be a daunting task. Recently, Instructional Communications Systems (ICS) at the Pyle Center, University of Wisconsin-Extension, began using PlaceWare, Web conferencing software combined with WisLine audio, to fill the needs of communicating and collaborating in real-time via the Web. ICS calls this service WisLine Web conferencing. What's so convenient is that all you need is a computer, a Web browser and a phone.
