* THE WSES INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - will be held in Malta, September 1-6, 2001 at the New Dolmen Resort Hotel. * THE BEIJING CHINA INTERNATIONAL HI-TECH CONVENTION - will take place Sept. 21-23, 2001 ( registration deadline is August 20, 2001 ) at the Beijing, China International Hi-Tech Convention and Exhibition Center. It is organized by the China International Enterprise Cooperative Corp., Ministry of Education, PRC and Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Corp., PRC and sponsored by over 20 organizations and administrations. In the past four events, there were 50,000 visitors and 4,000 companies. It is estimated that over 5,000 companies and 65,000 visitors will participate in 2001.
