- This month's issue of DESIEN will be the last one. Over the past ten years, DESIEN has grown from a University of Wisconsin newsletter for 64 faculty to one that is read internationally by over 1,100 subscribers and often forwarded on to others. We hope that it has been a valuable source of information and have appreciated the periodic comments of its value that some subscribers have sent.

Thanks to all of the DESIEN information sources that have given me permission to share their articles, or portions of articles on a regular basis. A special thank you to Rich Berg of ICS, our Materials Development Specialist, who has so carefully designed the archive and kept it current.

During the coming year, in addition to my work at ICS, I will be involved with post- doctoral work in the area of teaching and learning via technology, and will look forward to sharing my findings and applications when the work is completed.
