Conference Conference Information
October 19 - 20, 2000
Chula Vista Resort - Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin
The Fall, 2000 Joint ITMC, CUWL, LTDC, EMTC, and LAM meeting will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 19 and 20, 2000. The meeting will be held at the Chula Vista Conference Resort located in the Wisconsin Dells. The Chula Vista offers excellent conference facilities, large rooms, several pool and activity areas, and a beautiful view of the upper Wisconsin Dells. You can find out more about the facility and get maps to the resort via the web at www.chulavistaresort.com.
Please make your room reservations directly with the Chula Vista Conference Resort by calling 1-800-388-4782. Please identify yourself as a participant in the "UW System Joint Conference". This room rates are $52 per night for a single room and $72 per night for a double room. To qualify for these rates, your reservation must be made with the Chula Vista no later than September 18, 2000. Please make your reservations as soon as possible as there is a limited room block which the Chula Vista will only hold for a limited time The Chula Vista has also agreed to extend the double occupancy rate of $72 (add $8 for each additional occupant) for Friday through Sunday nights following the conference (if you want to make the weekend into a mini-vacation!!).
All conference attendees should register for the conference using the attached registration form. Registration forms are due no later than October 6, 2000. Please register in advance of the meeting as this greatly facilitates meeting planning such as meal counts, ensuring we have adequate meeting rooms, and reduces the amount of work that has to be done at the conference site. Please make all checks for registration fees payable to UW-Green Bay.
The Conference is planned to begin on Thursday, October 19, at 10:00 am. Conference check in and late registration will begin at 9:00 am. The conference will end at noon on Friday. The registration fee for the conference will be $65 which covers all breaks, lunch on Thursday, the group dinner on Thursday evening, continental breakfast on Friday, and other conference costs. Spouses and/or adult guests are most certainly welcome for the Thursday lunch and/or dinner. For these persons, there will be a separate charge of $8 for lunch and $18 for dinner. Please include these persons on the attached registration form. The lunch menu includes teriyaki chicken and fettuccine alfredo. The dinner menu includes your choice of either chicken michael, london broil, or fresh vegetable fettuccine. All dinners will be served with herb buttered red potatoes.
Each of the groups are working on their agendas and will be sending them out shortly. UW-System representatives will be providing presentations to a general joint session for all conference attendees from 10:00 until 12:30 on Thursday. After the joint session (and lunch), each group will be provided separate meeting rooms to meet and handle their business. The overall agenda for the conference at this point is as follows:
