Graduate Certificate in E-Learning and Online Teaching
Offered by University of Wisconsin-Stout
Designed for educators, administrators, and corporate trainers who wish to learn strategies and techniques of e-learning and online teaching. Courses are offered online and any of the individual courses included as a part of the certificate sequence may be completed for professional development. Courses may also be used to fulfill the concentration requirement in UW-Stouts online Master of Science in Education degree or as electives in the Master of Science degree in Career and Technical Education and Ed.S. degree in Career and Technical Education.

This white paper (July 2006) "measures videoconferencing adoption in K-12 schools as of mid-2006, and attempts to answer several questions: what is the extent of adoption in any particular state, and how many schools and classrooms are likely to be enabled for professional-quality videoconferencing on a national and state-by-state basis. Wainhouse Research believes that close to 23,000 public, primary and secondary school classrooms or administrative offices have been equipped with videoconferencing as of early 2006."

Learning Center Scholarship Committee as the first recipient of the
GetEducated.com award. Ken's nomination was based upon his academic
achievements and the strong recommendation of his nominators, Dr. Susan
Hilal and Dr. Cheryl Banachowski-Fuller. Ken is currently enrolled in
the online Master of Science in Criminal Justice through UWP.
