• ISEEK
  ISEEK is the Minnesota state website for career, education, job, and business information. ISEEK's partnership with Minnesota schools means users can search for information from 256 post secondary state providers. Searches can be made by selecting a program of study or by geographical location. ISEEK's comprehensive list of courses includes over 74,000 Minnesota classroom, online, or short-term training courses. [ Catalogs ]
  
  
• Quality Matters
  The Quality Matters project is "creating an inter-institutional continuous improvement model for assessing and assuring the quality of online courses." Original project partners include 19 MarylandOnline Community Colleges. Rubrics and resources have been highlighted by the project planners. [ Evaluation and Assessment ]
  
  
• Distance Education Technologies
  The University of Missouri - St. Louis has assembled a "Roadmap to Effective Distance Education Instructional Design" which is divided into several 'destinations'. Information on how to select technology for distance education courses, is descussed in Destination 6: "Distance Education Technologies."   In Learning Circuits from ASTD (American Society for Training and Development ), Carolyn Gray's article of March, 2006 states: "With blended learning, the tried-and-true traditional learning methods are combined with new technology to create a synergistic, dynamic learning structure that can propel learning to new heights."

There are numerous resources on financial aid, scholarships, student loans, grants, and other sources of funding that will be of interest to those seeking more information about financing their education. Most of the selections we have included in our new Student Funding section of the Distance Education Clearinghouse, have a particular focus on distance learning. Our listing is not meant to be a comprehensive selection of funding alternatives.
