Videoconferencing has become a key teaching and training technology for universities, businesses and training organizations. It is critical that instructors and trainers develop new knowledge and skills to understand this technology and to realize and use its potential.
To help meet these needs, the Instructional Design Team of the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Instructional Communications Systems (ICS), has developed Orientation Sessions, an Advanced Workshop, Personalized Consulting and Resource Materials.
What does teaching via videoconferencing involve? Find out by viewing the video in RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, or QuickTime. If you do not have a media player to play the movie, you can download one for free. These movies are captioned for the deaf and hard of hearing.
These resources will open in a new browser window. To return to the Training for Videoconferencing Website, close the browser window that opens.
