Keeping Librarians Up-to-Date:
The Fast-Paced World of Information Technology
ABSTRACT

Wisconsin Library Services (WiLS) has a mandate to train and support library workers all over Wisconsin in all types and sizes of libraries in library-related technology and trends. Demands on staff time, both at the participating libraries and here at WiLS, compel us to constantly look for training possibilities that are efficient and effective. This article presents a quick, easy, and popular distributed technology use of Placeware to keep librarians updated on dynamic tools using the 'WiLS Hour'.
