Wisconsin Hazardous Waste Collection Programs - A Historical Database!

For many years, Wisconsin has been a leading state in reducing environmental impacts from hazardous wastes. ERC has been able to document such success through data you can find on this site.

Our goal is to provide as complete information possible about the operation of Clean Sweeps in the state. We supply program management details and information about Wisconsin's county and municipal hazardous waste collection programs from 1984 until 2008. Our historical resources include Permanent Collections, One-Day Collection Programs, Collections from Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQG), and Mercury Management. Agencies, educators, and businesses can use this data to improve local planning and predict future needs.
