About Facilities Management
Physical space of the University of Wisconsin-Extension is a resource provided by the State of Wisconsin and the Board of Regents to accommodate a clearly defined and justified mission of this institution. As a resource, representing a major investment of tax dollars, available space must be effectively utilized. The provision and maintenance of necessary physical space requires long-term planning, periodic review and a continual organized space management function.
Mission of Facilities Management
- To ensure the safety of UW-Extension clients and employees
- To monitor and protect the property of the UW-Extension
- To ensure the integrity and development of UW-Extension facilities
