Florida Low Literacy FarmASyst Materials

Susan Williams, former Florida Home*A*Syst Coordinator, recognized that the Florida Farm*A*Syst and Home*A*Syst materials were above the reading level of many Floridians. In 1999, Florida released the Keep Your Well Water Clean series in English and Spanish. Written at a third-grade reading level, the series provides a model for public health programs. The series is comprised of 14 one-page documents, available in PDF format below.
