Program Impacts

Evaluation modules

Welcome. This page contains a series of three, introductory level, self-study modules on evaluation skills.

Module 1
- Focusing Your Evaluation
Module 2
- End-of-Session Evaluations: Asking the Right Questions
Module 3
- Using Evaluation Data: Analyzing, Interpreting, and Communicating the Results.
  • Each module includes basic concepts, interactivity activities, and a module evaluation. The content is targeted to persons in all UW-Extension divisions.
  • It will take you about 30-45 minutes to complete each module. You can take the courses in any order and one at a time. However, we suggest you start with Module 1 to learn about UW-Extension's philosophy of program impact evaluation and to lay the groundwork for Modules 2 and 3.
  • We ask that you log-in so we know who is taking the courses and so that we can be accountable for our training efforts. Your responses to the course activities and evaluations are anonymous. Sorry — We don't have the resources to provide individual feedback to your module activities.
  • These modules are just one-way of advancing UW-Extension's Program Impact Initiative and our goal of building a culture of accountability throughout our institution. See www.uwex.edu/impacts. Many more evaluation resources are available at: www.uwex.edu/ces/pdande.
  • Before you begin, please review the Technical Requirements and Course Information guidelines. This information will help you navigate the module slides and do the interactive exercises.
