How to Get the Plugin for ExtendLMS Presenter
Getting the plugin for ExtendLMS (Breeze) Presenter will enable you to add sounds, quizzes and other extras to your PowerPoint presentations. You will also be able to publish your completed presentations to the ExtendLMS server or directly to your own computer. Publishing directly to your own computer will enable you to insert the finished files directly into your Desire2Learn course, if you wish to do so.
| To get started, login to ExtendLMS. If you do not have a login, you will need to obtain one from Instructional Communications Systems (ICS). Since the UW System contract with ICS is different from the UW-Stout pilot program, you must meet these three guidelines to obtain an account from ICS: • You must a UW Colleges or University of Wisconsin (any campus) faculty or staff member • You must be using Desire2Learn as the primary delivery source for your course • You must be teaching a for-credit course |

| After you complete the login process, your home page will open. Click the “Getting Started” link on the left side of your home page. |  |
| The Getting Started page will open in a separate window. Click on the link in number one that says Install Macromedia Breeze Presenter. |  |
| You will get a warning that asks if you want to run or save the file. Click the Run button. |  |
| After you click the Run button, the file for the installer will start to open. |  |
| After the file has opened, another warning window will open. Click on the Run button. |  |
| After you click the Run button, the Install Shield Wizard will start opening. |  |
| After the InstallShield Wizard has finished, the installation program begins. Click the Next button to start. |  |
| Read the license agreement and click the radio button that signifies that you accept the terms in the licensing agreement. Once you have done this, the Next button will become active. Note: UW System expects you to conform to the terms of the License Agreement. Violation of these rules may result in the suspension of your account. |

| You should keep the destination folder that the installation program chooses unless you have a special reason not to do so. Click on the Next button. |  |
| Click the Install button to begin the installation of the files. |  |
| The files will be installed. This may take a few minutes. |  |
| After the files are installed, you will be done. Uncheck the box for the Getting Started presentation if you don’t want to see it. Click the Finish button. |  |
| The next time you open PowerPoint, you will see a new Breeze menu in the menu list. |  |
| Please note that it is a violation of our contract agreement to distribute or share the executable file for this plugin. Each person wishing to use the plugin must log in to ExtendLMS and download it themselves. | |
