| Q507 - When I try to upload my PowerPoint slide set, which contains Poll, Web, or other slides created using the Live Meeting Add-in for PowerPoint, I get the message: "Uploading PowerPoint files that were created using the Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 Add-in for PowerPoint is not supported with this version of Live Meeting. Remove the Live Meeting resource slides from the file, and then try again to upload it." I need to include Live Meeting slides (Poll, Web, etc.) in my presentation. What should I do? |
Resolution#1: Using the Live Meeting 2005 PowerPoint Add-in, convert the presentation and then upload the converted file to the meeting from the Live Meeting Web interface. 1.Open the slide set in PowerPoint. 2.From the PowerPoint menu bar, select Add-ins, Live Meeting Presentation, then Export. 3.In the Export pop-up, select .LMP for "Save as type". 4.Log in to your Conference Center Live Meeting Manager, go to Manage Meetings and click the meeting in the list to get to the Meeting Details page for your meeting. 5.Select Upload Files (from the right-hand side of the Meeting Details page). 6.Browse to find the .LMP file you just saved, then click Upload. Your slide set will upload and your Live Meeting slides (Poll, Web, etc) will be active and functional in your meeting. Resolution #2: From within the Live Meeting Windows console you can manually add the same slides from the PowerPoint Add-in. (Note: You will not be able to create the Live Meeting slides outside of Live Meeting.) 1. Join the meeting as a Presenter. 2. Go to the Live Meeting How-To Help article on Using Collaborative Slides and follow the instructions under "To insert a collaborative slide into an existing presentation." |
