Instructional Media Services Rates

ICS Instructional Media Services is the exclusive provider of all instructional equipment and audiovisual services for the Extension Conference Centers (The Pyle Center and The Lowell Center).

Please review the IMS policies.

The rates listed represent our smost commonly requested media services and packages. If you need services not listed, please contact IMS for consultation. We are happy to assist you with customized services to meet your needs.

Packages and Equipment

Presentation Package
The presentation package includes all the most requested services to make your in-room presentations easy and dynamic. The package includes one computer with DVD drive, USB hub, data connection, LCD projector and screen or flat screen monitor, VHS player (if available), wireless microphone, document camera (if equipped). Available in The Pyle Center 111, 112, 121, 213, 225, 226, 227, 232, 309, 313, 325, 325/326, 327, 332, 335; and The Lowell Center B1A&B, B1B, Lower Lounge. Must be reserved for each day of the event.

Distance Learning Package - Small Group
(up to 15 participants)
 
The distance learning package includes the most requested services for presenting to an in-room audience along with the ability to connect with your remote audiences and presenters with interactive audio, video or web conferencing services (bridging for multipoint connections will incur an additional fee). The package includes: one computer with DVD drive, one projector and LCD flat screen monitor, USB connections, document camera, microphones for all participants, and all appropriate hardware for your audio, video, or web conference. Available in The Pyle Center 310, 312, 315.
$125 /half day, or

Distance Learning Package - Medium/Large Group
(25 - 50 participants)
 
Includes the most requested services for your local audience along with the ability to connect with your remote audiences and presenters with interactive audio, video or web conferencing services (bridging for multipoint connections will incur an additional fee). Includes: one computer with DVD, two flat screen LCD projectors, USB connections, document camera, microphones for all participants, and all appropriate hardware for your audio, video, or web conference. Available in The Pyle Center 227, 232, 327, 332, 335. $200 /half day, or

High Definition Distance Learning Package  
Includes high definition video and audio to provide the highest quality image and sound to your audience both in-room and at a distance. Includes the most requested services required for your local audience -- a computer with DVD support, two high definition projectors with two, widescreen monitors, USB connections, document camera, a wireless microphone for presenters, and microphones for all participants -- along with the necessary hardware and software to connect with your remote audience and presenters via audio, video or web conferencing, or webcasting (bridging for multipoint connections will incur an additional fee). Seating for 55 participants.Available in The Pyle Center room 235, only. $250 /half day, or

High Definition Distance Learning / Collaboration Package  
Includes laptops for each participant plus high definition video and audio to create a highly interactive collaborative space for meetings and training. Includes a presenter computer with DVD support, two 65" high definition, flat screen monitors, USB connections, document camera, built-in wireless microphones, and 13 laptop computers. All the necessary hardware and software is included to connect to your audience at-a-distance via audio, video, or web conferencing, or webcasting (bridging for multipoint connections will incur an additional fee). Seating for 13 participants.Available in The Pyle Center room 314, only. $250 /half day, or

Computer Labs  
Client-supplied computers:
Includes power strips for laptops and technical support to get your meeting or class started.

Portable Lab:
We can supply laptops in any room of The Pyle Center to create a lab in any space. Up to 24 laptops are available. Includes setup and support)

Desktop Lab:
The Pyle Center room 209 includes 20 desktop computers for participants, a presenter computer, two LCD projectors and screens, printer, and document camera. Includes setup and support.

LCD room projector, only. Available only in The Pyle Center rooms 205, 217, 220, 317, 320, 326, and The Lowell Center 115, 116, 118. $130 /day
 
Webcast Lecture Capture Package Upgrade  
Upgrade your presentation package or distance learning package with the lecture capture option to make your event available online live or recorded for on-demand viewing with streaming media. Includes one dedicated technician for the duration of the event, setup, and all necessary equipment. $350 / day +
$100 /hour technical support
 
Enhanced Webcast Lecture Capture Upgrade  
Upgrade your presentation package or distance learning package with the lecture capture option to make your event available online live or recorded for on-demand viewing with streaming media. Includes two technicians dedicated to the event for the duration of the event, multiple cameras, streaming, lighting and sound enhancements, and all necessary equipment to provide the most professional, high quality audio and video result. $500 /day +
$200 /hour technical support
 
Remote Location Webcast Lecture Capture  
We will travel to your facility to capture your event for live or on-demand viewing. We will visit your proposed site to determine lighting, power, networking and other requirements prior to your event. Events outside of the Madison area are charged any related travel expenses. We will provide an estimate of charges prior to your event. Please contact IMS for more information and an estimate. $250 /day +

Webcast Lecture Capture Online Hosting Services  
Six months of online file hosting is included with each package. File storage fees are charged after six months. $5 /month/file or $60 /year/file
 
Overflow Rooms  
When your event requires more than one room in The Pyle Center or The Lowell Center, we can send audio, video and content into an overflow room (when space is available).

Customized Services and Equipment
