Recording and Production Studios
The ICS Multimedia production and recording services complex consists of two state-of-the-art analog and digital control rooms and two acoustically treated recording studios. Located in The Pyle Center on the UW-Madison campus, these control rooms and studios are used to provide such services as:
- Custom analog and digital live recording, editing, enhancing, and timing
- Custom transfers from beta, CD, DAT, micro-cassettes, mini-dv, records, reel-to-reel tape, U-MATIC, and VHS
- Digital CD burning and electronic file transfer
- Mastering tapes for high-speed cassette duplication
- Mixing audio voice, music, and sound effects (SFX)
The cost for studio usage-recording, talent, editing, and mixing music and effects is based on an hourly rate for each item.
