Free Workshops Offered by ICS
You are invited to a free hands-on workshop presented by Instructional Communications Systems (ICS) to introduce our new webconference application, Elluminate Live!. There will be two identical workshops, one August 18, 1:00 – 3:00 PM, and the other August 19, 9:00 – 11:00 AM. You may attend either.
The workshop will provide an opportunity to try out Elluminate Live!, learn how to use the new tool, and share your feedback on the product. You’re invited to bring your multimedia files, slide sets, quiz questions, and files for transfer so you can see firsthand what the product can do using real-life work examples.
Elluminate Live! is a webconferencing application with either voice-over Internet (VoIP) audio or phone audio. It is completely cross-platform with identical Macintosh and Windows capabilities. Elluminate, designed specifically for an educational market, features helpful learning and teaching tools like quizzing, polling, and application sharing. Elluminate has webcam capability; is accessible, including closed captioning; and may be used on low bandwidth. It offers a host of easy-to-use features that will be detailed in the workshop.

If you cannot attend either of the workshops, or would prefer an initial overview, we’re also offering free, one-hour demonstrations of Elluminate. These will be offered on Tuesday mornings, 10:00 – 11:00 AM, and Thursday afternoons, 1:00 – 2:00 PM beginning August 18. Registration is required for the demos and seats are limited, so please register early.
