Videoconference Standards Discussion List

Technical discussions on this list center around the use of the ITU H.323 videoconference standard in support of distance education. Other standards, such as H.320 (ISDN), H.321 (ATM), MPEG and the data conferencing standard T.120 are also within the scope of this list. This list focuses on the technology, success and failure stories, how-to questions, etc.

Like many other institutions, the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Instructional Communications Systems provides videoconferencing and telecollaborative services related to distance education. Sharing problems and solutions between our institutions can help us all better serve the educators and the learners.
